Between a string of chaotic Europe trips, i am currently taking a few days to relax and explore the world of the Orient Express through Hotel La Residencia in Deià, Mallorca, Spain. First night in, naturally we wandered down to the Son Moragues terrace bar/restaurant to experience their tapas! It was AMAZING. Take a peek at what we discovered!

And Iberico Ham. OMG. I had heard the hype for ages, but never tried it in Spain, and this jamón

Our homemade La Residencia tomato bread with Iberian bellota “Joselito” ham - How could we not try this when she calls it the King Of Hams, The best of the best available in the region?

Galician octopus, served in our chef's style - which turns out to be grilled with salt and potatoes. Delicious!
Foie gras parfait wrapped in Jabugo ham with figs marinated in cassis.
And we finished things off with Mallorca's cheeses.
